The very place where their passionate love affair began, The Manor fills with guests on what should be the happiest day of Ava and Jesse’s lives. She has accepted that she’ll never tame the fierceness in Jesse, and she doesn't want to. Their love is profound, their connection powerful, but just when she thinks that she’s finally got beneath his guarded exterior, more questions arise which lead Ava to believe that Jesse Ward may not be the man she thinks he is. He knows too well how to take her to a place beyond ecstasy…but will he also drive her to the brink of despair?
It’s time for this man to confess.
Oh my Lord! I have to say that I have been looking forward to reading This Man Confessed for a very long time. Knowing that this book would be the last one in the series, I was almost afraid to read it. But I took a deep breath and then jumped right in – and I am so glad that I did.
The intensity between Ava and her “Lord” Jesse – is even more extreme this time around and in spite of the story opening up with their wedding at The Manor – there is still an unbelievable amount of angst in store for them.
“I’ll never completely understand him. I’ve accepted all of his flaws and challenging ways. They are all part of the man I love deeply – the man I share a connection with that is so potent, it’s sent us both crazy. We share an intensity that cripples us both.”
“When we’re like this, nothing and no one else exists. We’re surrounded by this calming music, we are both calm, but we are both sticky, gliding against each other’s bodies and completely out of our mind on pleasure. Out he pulls, and in he goes again. He’s filling me wholly and not just with each and every perfect stroke. My heart is full, too. It’s full of fierce, powerful, undying love.”
